My go to lunch/dinner spot. Food is fresh and reasonably priced, nice variety of daily specials with wraps, dinners, lunches, pizza. The employees are friendly and enjoy posting the art their child patrons make on the back of the menu. Plainfield doesn't have many places to eat, but this is a great small town restaurant.

Great food and great service at decent prices. I've made some great memories here with both friends and family and it's awesome to have such a great restaurant very close to my friends, family, and I. The location is great because in the summertime my friends and I like to go swimming at the Plainfield Town Hall and then grab a bite to eat before going home.

In all the years i have been going to Gus’ Pub I have never had a bad meal! I absolutely adore their pepperoni pizza. Their lemon chicken is out of this world as is their turkey and prime rib dinners. If you need good comfort food, head on over to Pizzarama of Plainfield! You won’t be disappointed!

Super food, have frequented Gus's Pub for over 30 years. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu because everything is going to be good! Large portions bring your appetite.

The food was delicious, the service was great hey, can we have the whole restaurant to ourselves. They are open again so be sure to go and dine in plenty of seating.

Been eating at Gus' for 40 yrs and have never had a bad experience. My favorite pizza by far, but all the food is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. Our go to place when we want a night out or a pizza to go

Nice big menu with tons of different types of food to choose. Everything is so good that I've tried so far. Everyone is very friendly and goes above and beyond for you. Not to expensive. The place has tv by the bar area if you'd like to watch sports. They make really good alcoholic drinks too. I highly recommend this place. It's my favorite restaurant in my area.

Had an excellent first date there with my boyfriend we've been dating 4 months and this was our first actual lunch date out... No more drive-thru!! We both had the Reuben sandwich platter and it was delicious!❤

Baked scrod was fresh and delicious. White clam chowder was also fresh and tasty! Servers were attentive and quick.

I absolutely love this place! They are extremely clean, and highly Covid 19 conscientious. Everything that I've ever had from there is fantastic! I can recommend the cabbage soup, the chicken parmesan, As well as the fish-and-chips! They have a large amount of ice cold beer on tap.The wait staff is so friendly!

Yum! Had chicken parm. First, there was plenty to eat. The chicken was thin and tender enough to cut with a fork and nice crispy costing. Red sauce was very good. Service was also very good. Definitely recommend.

The food is very good. Friendly servers and fairly quick service. If something is wrong,they will redo it the way customer wants it. They go out of their way to even help you decide,by explaining what is in one meal vs the other. Food served hot is a plus.

Chicken tenders were little more than paper thin and overcooked. Eggplant Parmesan grinder tasted like mush and I was nauseous afterwards. Not the Gus’s I used to know😔

Ate here with a group of obnoxious young adult friends, and the food was excellent. Special shout out to their waitress Dawn, who is hilarious, attentive, and VERY gangsta.

This is an awesome place! The owner is very involved and wonderful. The Waitresses are all attentive efficient and fabulous! Not to mention the incredible food. You can't go wrong here.

Never had a bad meal here. Good food good prices good atmosphere and excellent service. Love the clam cakes and chowder.

Well they messed up again. We used to love this place. Not anymore. It seems like every time we place a order they screw it up. Ordered a calzone it came with no sauce. Plus their pizza crust tastes stale.

Last time I was here, I don't think the inrernet was a thing yet. I'm happy to report the food is still excellent, then portion sizes are good and the prices are fare. I'll be back and hopefully it won't be in 20 years.
